Three community forums are scheduled as part of the redistricting process affecting middle schools in Geographic Region A. The forums will be held September 30, November 12, and December 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the gymnasium at Langston Hughes High School. Families and community members are encouraged to attend, learn more about the process, and provide input. Additional information: www.fultonschools.org/redistricting. The Fulton County Board of Education will meet for a working retreat on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All meetings of the School Board are open to the public unless designated as executive session where, by law, the Board must convene in private to discuss land, legal, or personnel items. Any vote resulting from executive session discussion, however, will occur in an open public setting.
The retreat will be held at the South Learning Center, 4025 Flat Shoals Rd., Union City, Ga. 30291
The Fulton County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, October 13, at the FCS North Learning Center, 450 Northridge Pkwy in Sandy Springs.
