Assistant Principal's Message

Greetings, Campbell Family,
It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as your new Assistant Principal. I am a proud native of Brooklyn, New York, bringing 19 years of experience in education, including 11 wonderful years within Fulton County Schools.
I am an Ivy League graduate, where I began my educational journey, later studying teaching at Columbia University and earning my master’s degree from Brooklyn College. Over the course of my career, I’ve taught grades K–8 and served in roles such as EIP Teacher, Grade Level Chair, ELA Instructional Coach, and Curriculum Support Teacher. Each experience has strengthened my belief that all children deserve access to a high-quality education that nurtures their potential and fuels their dreams.
As a mother of two beautiful children, I understand how vital partnership, compassion, and connection are in supporting student success. I believe in bridging learning gaps through intentional instruction, strong relationships, and high expectations—ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and capable of greatness.
At Campbell, I am committed to leading with GRACE, which means prioritizing growth, relationships, achievement, community, and equity—building a foundation where every teacher and every student thrives.
My approach emphasizes high standards for student conduct, academic achievement, and instructional quality—anchored in collaboration and data-driven analysis that strengthen relationships, promote equity, and empowers every learner to flourish.
I am both honored and humbled to join this extraordinary school community. Together, we will continue to climb, inspire, and achieve—Because at Campbell, we believe that when hearts align and purpose leads, greatness follows.
With gratitude and excitement,
Ms. Rutledge
